i live in southern california and my home value is 600,000. I pay 2,200 for insurance every 6 months. i think this is a little too high but would like to know if this is average.

I live in North Florida and last Friday I received a call from my home insurance agent saying the inurance agency sent him a “third and FINAL” notice that the branches hanging over my roof needed to be trimmed back.
I have 3 children and nowhere for them to go during the summer months, I live in a rural area in Missouri. I am a licensed insurance agent but quit my job in May to stay home with my kids and possibly continue my education
i use TSB and have never thankfully claimed yet every year it goes up in costs now at £20 plus some pence, so i rang them after getting a quote through the post office for £12 50. FOR THE SAME COVER.was asked to hold and then told that thewy would just about match thier quote, so wy send charge such an amount to a long standing never in the red member.

How much can you typically make on a new home owner insurance policy both for refinance or purchase of a home?? How much do you make on renewal of the policy??

We are currently looking for home owners insurance for our new house (first house) and now I have a few questions: 1) What are the “important” questions to ask while getting a quote? 2) So far I received several quotes already and all of them vary quite a bit. What are the most important points I have to look at, so I can compare “Apples-to-Apples”
We are thinking about buying a home in So Cal that is a 4 +2 house on a 10,000 sq ft lot. The house has a pool though, and our concern would be what the cost of insurance would be. The pool is deep, and there is no diving board, and at the present time there is no fence.
