I want to open my own small agency doing life, auto, home, business, health, and many more types of insurance but I know it’s going to be tough in the begining in terms of clients… I am trying to see what can I do in terms of marketing to become known and develope trust among people or community so I can run a successful business… Want to hear how you people, if any of you, started and developed a marketing that really worked ..

What companies can I get appointed with in Louisiana to write Home Insurance for my Insurance agency?

I have an Indepenent insurance agency in Houston, TX and I am opening a branch office in Louisiana to offer home and auto insurance for LA residents. However, I am having a hard time finding companies that are appointing agents or writing home insurance other than Louisiana Citizens

Auto/home insurance agents, I am going to apply for a job as a CSR but I want to see if I can do this job in..?

I used to sell auto/home insurance years ago & had a home office. I see some opening for Customer Service Agents & my former boss has an opening (I think) he is away right now so I am preparing to contact him when he gets back. Can a person do this work in a home office.
