I need advice from insurance agents. What is a good place to advertise online?

I want to target a specific area for auto, home and life insurance. I have a website to direct people to but am having trouble finding other businesses to advertise on. I would like to advertise on an auto dealerships page or something like it but can not find any who allow this. Any other advice for a place to advertise online a local agency?

Why don’t you buy ad space on Yahoo Answers, in the Business – INsurance area, and the Cars – Registration & INsurance area?

  1. If you have the money: go with Reach Local. I met with one of their representatives in St. Louis, and they have a verrrry worthwhile service.

Did you know that 48% use the internet when they are looking for a financial professional? AND that number increases by 2% per year? (RIP baby boomers)

What they do is use google, yahoo, ect better than you can to advertise, and even output statistical data to help you grow.

  2. Great question. Good idea about advertising on auto dealer webpages.

Auto Trader will let you advertise and you will get results but it’s expensive! Check out Bob Parsons Blog on Godaddy (godaddy.com). He gives great advice on advertising w/o spending any money.

    Hope this helps.
